Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 14th, 1970) is a famous American actor and writer. She is two times a Golden Globe Award recipient. Her performances in CBS One Day at a Time's Barbara and Hot in Cleveland's Melanie Moretti made her a famous household name. In her teens she started acting, and has since developed into a professional character actor. She discovered a love for showbiz through her friendship with a daughter of a television producer when she was a little girl. Bertinelli started her career as a television host after completing her studies at the Tami Lynn School of Artists. Due to her impressive acting skills and confidence, Bertinelli quickly became a household name in the industry.
